Side Events Celebrating Bhutan’s Cultural Heritage

Apart from the main events, the festival will also host several side events celebrating Bhutan’s cultural heritage and community livelihoods.

Key highlights include the Sacred Relics Exhibition at Punakha Dzong, cultural programs at Tendrelthang, interactive demonstrations of the 13 Traditional Crafts (Zorig Chusum), textile weaving, Sowa Rigpa medicine, and astrology.

Participants can also engage in eco-treks, yoga, and pilgrimage walks to sacred sites. Additionally, they can explore a pop-up market at Centennial Park, which will showcase handicrafts, organic products, and enterprises led by women and youth.
